Welspun, Saudi Aramco Partner for Line Pipe Facility

Welspun Corp Ltd has announced a strategic partnership with Saudi Aramco to establish a state-of-the-art Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) line pipe manufacturing facility in Dammam 3rd Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. The facility will have an annual production capacity of 350,000 metric tons and is set to begin operations by mid-2026.

Supporting Saudi Aramco’s Expanding Infrastructure Needs

The new plant aims to meet Saudi Aramco’s growing demand for advanced line pipe solutions for projects involving the transmission of oil, gas, hydrogen, and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS).

Welspun, a trusted partner of Saudi Aramco for nearly two decades, has consistently contributed to the Kingdom’s oil and gas infrastructure. This facility will further strengthen the collaboration between the two companies. Strategically located in Dammam, the plant is designed to improve supply chain efficiency. It aims to cater to the growing regional demand for high-quality line pipes.
