India’s Maritime Sector Goes Digital with C-DAC

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) witnessed the signing of a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) and the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC). The event, held at MeitY, symbolized a pivotal step toward modernizing India’s maritime administration through advanced technologies.

The MoU was signed by Shri Shyam Jagannathan, Director General of Shipping, and Shri E. Magesh, DG, C-DAC, in the presence of Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, and other senior dignitaries, including Shri Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary, MeitY, and Smt. Sunita Verma, Group Coordinator, MeitY.
