HCLTech has announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with OpenAI aimed at accelerating enterprise adoption of generative AI. The partnership makes HCLTech one of the first global service providers to integrate OpenAI’s models deeply across its platforms, offerings, and client engagements.
The company will embed OpenAI’s solutions into its proprietary platforms—AI Force, AI Foundry, and a suite of industry-specific AI accelerators. These integrations are expected to help clients modernize operations, improve user experiences, and drive AI-led innovation at scale.

Empowering clients with end-to-end AI transformation
According to HCLTech, the collaboration covers the full generative AI lifecycle—from readiness assessments and integration to governance and change management. Clients will gain access to both OpenAI’s leading models and HCLTech’s AI engineering capabilities to build scalable, secure solutions tailored to industry-specific needs.
The partnership is also expected to strengthen customer and employee engagement by transforming workflows with secure and enterprise-grade generative AI tools.
Internal rollout and global AI readiness
As part of the initiative, HCLTech will roll out ChatGPT Enterprise and OpenAI APIs internally to empower its workforce. The goal is to drive productivity and foster innovation using secure generative AI across business functions.
This announcement follows HCLTech’s earlier collaboration with Microsoft in 2023 to leverage OpenAI models via Azure OpenAI Service. That partnership led to the creation of a generative AI Centre of Excellence focused on industry-specific solutions.
