Bengaluru-based developer Brigade Enterprises Limited will invest about ₹40,000 crore over the next three years. The money will fund a 40 million sq ft development pipeline. The company announcement was reported by The Economic Times.
Brigade expects the programme to create around 23,000 direct and indirect jobs across its markets.
Funding and Focus Areas
The spending will cover residential, commercial, retail and hospitality projects. It will also reach newer segments such as warehousing. Brigade will fund the plan through internal accruals, project-level financing and strategic partnerships.
The company unveiled the plan as it neared its 40th year of operations. It reached that milestone on 10 October 2026.
Managing Director Pavitra Shankar said about 70 percent of the money will go to residential projects. Office and retail will get around 20 percent, and hospitality the remaining 10 per cent.
Jobs Across Several Sectors
The company said the new projects and businesses should generate about 23,000 direct and indirect jobs. The roles will span construction, engineering, hospitality, retail, facility management and technology.
World Trade Centres Lead Commercial Growth
Brigade’s World Trade Centre (WTC) platform will anchor its commercial expansion. The group has secured licences for three new WTC projects. Two are in Bengaluru, at Devanahalli and Whitefield. The third is in Coimbatore.
The company is also taking its Orion retail brand beyond Bengaluru. Projects are planned in Chennai and Hyderabad. Brigade’s operating leasing portfolio now stands at about 10 million sq ft.
