Frog Innovations Limited has partnered with US-based wireless networking company LigoWave to manufacture wireless broadband and Wi-Fi products in India. Frog Innovations, formerly Frog Cellsat Limited, is an Indian telecom equipment maker. The companies announced the deal at India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026.
They will sell the products under a joint brand, FROG LigoWave. Production is due to start in 2026 at Frog Innovations’ Noida facility.
A Fast-Growing Market
The partnership targets India’s rising demand for wireless broadband and enterprise Wi-Fi. The market for point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) radio equipment is projected to grow from Rs 2,200 crore in FY2025 to Rs 4,840 crore by FY2032. The enterprise Wi-Fi access systems market is expected to rise from Rs 1,800 crore to Rs 3,520 crore. Together, the two segments offer an opportunity above Rs 8,300 crore by FY2032.
A New Line for Frog Innovations
The agreement marks Frog Innovations’ entry into wireless broadband and enterprise networking. It widens a portfolio that so far centres on Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).
The planned range includes PtP and PtMP radios, enterprise Wi-Fi access points and other networking products. They are aimed at telecom operators, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and businesses. The companies also plan to explore export markets with locally made, competitively priced products.
What the Leaders Said
Konark Trivedi, Managing Director of Frog Innovations, called the deal an important milestone. It supports the company’s aim to become a globally competitive telecom technology firm from India. He said LigoWave’s proven wireless technology, combined with Frog’s manufacturing strength, creates a strong product range for operators, ISPs and enterprises worldwide.
Edward Ho, CEO of LigoWave, said India is among the world’s fastest-growing telecom markets. He said the two firms will combine technology and manufacturing strength to deliver reliable wireless broadband and Wi-Fi for India and global customers.
Girish Nair, India Country Manager at LigoWave, said the deal should help the company grow its Indian market share and reach three times its current growth. LigoWave’s first priority is to make its latest 11AX and 11BE products locally, where demand is high. He said Frog Innovations gives it a platform to build quality products at low cost.
