Neysa, an AI acceleration cloud platform in India, has chosen STTGDC to host a new GPU deployment. STTGDC is a global colocation data centre services provider. The deployment will also run Neysa’s Velocis AI cloud platform.
The first phase will support up to 9,000 GPUs. It is expected to go live from the first quarter of CY2027 at STT Noida 2. The facility is in northern India, close to New Delhi.
STTGDC stated in an announcement that this is the first phase of a multi-year relationship between the two companies. The deployment is built for high-density AI training and inference.
What the Deployment Offers
The deployment aims to help enterprises and startups run production AI workloads in India. It promises predictable latency and data residency. Customers will get the infrastructure to develop, train and deploy AI applications closer to their users and data.
Neysa’s Long-Term Plan
Sharad Sanghi, CEO of Neysa, said the company is building for the long term. It serves businesses in India and global compute customers who want to add India to their infrastructure footprint.
He said customers need more than access to GPUs. They need capacity they can plan around, reliable operations and room to scale as workloads change. That is why Neysa plans compute, platform and data centre infrastructure together. The Noida deployment is one part of that approach. It brings GPU infrastructure and Velocis together to support AI workloads in production.
Backed by Blackstone
In February this year, private equity funds linked to Blackstone, along with co-investors, signed definitive agreements to invest in Neysa. The deal enables a US$1.2 billion capital raise.
STTGDC’s View
Bimal Khandelwal, CEO – India at STTGDC, said India’s AI ambitions depend on more than access to compute. They also need the digital infrastructure to support complex, compute-intensive workloads at scale.
He said STTGDC is proud to work with Neysa and its co-founder and CEO, Sharad Sanghi. Sanghi built one of India’s earliest internet data centre companies, and Khandelwal said that work helped shape the country’s data centre industry.
STTGDC’s India Footprint
STTGDC runs 28 data centres across 10 locations in India. In July this year, it opened STT Jaipur 1, an AI-ready data centre in Rajasthan’s capital. The facility covers 95,300 sq. ft. of built-up area. It will offer up to 6 MW of critical IT load capacity and carrier-neutral connectivity.
