The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korea Transport Institute (KoTI) to enhance cooperation in logistics and infrastructure development. The signing ceremony took place at the Sejong National Research Complex in South Korea, with Mr. Youngchan Kim, President of KoTI, and H.E. Amit Kumar, Indian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, in attendance.
Boosting Collaboration through Knowledge Exchange
The MoU will strengthen institutional ties between DPIIT’s Logistics Division and KoTI. It focuses on developing infrastructure master plans under India’s PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, a major initiative aimed at creating a unified and efficient logistics ecosystem across the country.
Joint working meetings will be held to advance the partnership, ensuring a structured exchange of expertise and technical assistance. The collaboration will also promote cross-learning in key areas such as master planning, technology adoption, and innovation.
