Infosys Acquires Australia’s The Missing Link

Infosys has announced the acquisition of Australian cybersecurity services firm The Missing Link for approximately ₹532 crore (AUD 98 million), through an all-cash transaction by Infosys Singapore Pte, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infosys. The acquisition aims to enhance Infosys’ cybersecurity capabilities and strengthen its presence in the Australian market.

Expansion of Cybersecurity Expertise

Founded in 1997, The Missing Link is a specialised cybersecurity and cloud services company. It offers a wide range of services, including strategic cybersecurity advice, offensive and defensive security, cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance, tactical support, and managed security services.

“The Missing Link brings to Infosys a group of highly skilled cybersecurity professionals, adding to the network of Infosys’ global cyber defence centres,” Infosys stated. The company had previously disclosed its intent to acquire The Missing Link, highlighting the strategic importance of expanding its cybersecurity offerings.

Integration with Infosys Cobalt Platform

Infosys said the addition of The Missing Link would complement its Infosys Cobalt platform, enhancing its ability to deliver specialised, end-to-end cybersecurity services and solutions to clients worldwide.

“Together with The Missing Link, and Infosys Cobalt, Infosys aims to usher in the new wave of differentiated value to customers, with specialised cybersecurity offerings and solutions,” the company added in its statement.

Broader Service Offerings

In addition to cybersecurity, The Missing Link provides solutions across IT strategy, technology roadmaps, project management, risk mitigation, and automation services. Infosys noted that these additional capabilities will further strengthen its portfolio in critical areas of digital transformation for clients.

The acquisition aligns with Infosys’ broader strategic focus on deepening its expertise in emerging technologies and reinforcing its commitment to providing secure digital solutions across global markets.
