NxtGen Expands AI Team with 400 New Hires

NxtGen Cloud Technologies, a leading data centre and cloud services provider, has announced plans to hire 400 AI engineers in the coming months to meet the rising demand for artificial intelligence services. This recruitment drive will focus on fresh graduates with expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and GenAI architectures.

Expanding Workforce to Support AI Growth

The hiring initiative will nearly double NxtGen’s workforce, which currently stands at over 400 employees, including 80 AI engineers. The company has already begun campus recruitment efforts, including recent engagements at MIT-WPU in Pune. It expects to onboard the new hires by the end of the financial year.

NxtGen’s expansion is driven by increasing AI adoption among businesses and government-backed initiatives like IndiaAI, which aims to strengthen India’s AI ecosystem through foundational models and workforce development.

Focus on AI Talent and Infrastructure Development

The new hires will undergo a 3-4 month structured training programme designed to equip them with hands-on experience in AI development. Their responsibilities will include:

  • Data preparation
  • Model fine-tuning
  • Deployment and security
  • Management of AI solutions for customers

NxtGen has been actively building AI use-cases for enterprises, offering solutions that convert customer ideas into commercially viable AI deployments.
