Surat-based startup Rocket.new has raised $15 million in seed funding, led by Salesforce Ventures, with participation from Accel, Together Fund, and other early supporters. Despite being just 16 weeks into its journey, the AI-powered vibe coding platform has already generated significant traction—crossing $4.5 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and powering the creation of over 500,000 applications.
The funding round reflects the growing interest in agentic, no-code software development platforms that aim to democratize app creation beyond professional developers. Rocket.new’s platform allows users to generate full-scale, production-ready applications from simple natural language prompts—without writing a single line of code.
From DhiWise to Rocket.new: Founders Reimagine Software Creation
Rocket.new was founded by Vishal Virani, Rahul Shingala, and Deepak Dhanak, the same team behind DhiWise, a developer workflow startup. Their new venture builds on the idea of “vibe coding”—a blend of AI, product logic, and no-code interfaces—to allow solo founders, engineers, and product managers to go from idea to app quickly and reliably.
Unlike many no-code tools that stop at MVPs or prototypes, Rocket.new supports complex apps in verticals like e-commerce, fintech, and B2B SaaS. The platform integrates models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini, layered with proprietary training data.
Global Traction and Revenue Model
In just three months, Rocket.new has attracted 400,000+ users across 180 countries, including teams at Meta, PayPal, PwC, and Times Internet. It boasts 10,000+ paying customers and operates on a subscription model starting at $25/month, with gross margins in the 50–55% range.
Co-founder Vishal Virani notes that while Rocket.new takes longer than other AI dev tools to generate the first application (about 25 minutes), the result is a “production-grade, fully functional platform”—not just a prototype.
The company is targeting $20–25 million ARR by year-end, and $60–70 million by mid-2026, signaling aggressive growth plans fueled by this latest capital injection. As AI-native tools redefine how software is built, Rocket.new is positioning itself as a key player in agentic development—empowering a new generation of builders who don’t need coding skills to ship real products.
