Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the expansion of its strategic partnership with Google Cloud to help enterprises adopt AI‑native, autonomous operating models. The move is being framed as a next‑phase shift beyond AI pilots, toward the deployment and management of agentic and autonomous AI systems that can accelerate decision‑making across complex business and IT functions, while maintaining strong governance, security, and trust in regulated and mission‑critical environments.
Under the expanded collaboration, TCS and Google Cloud will work together to embed AI‑driven automation into core enterprise operations, including data, industrial workflows, and security‑operations processes, rather than limiting AI to isolated proof‑of‑concept projects.
New AI‑Autonomous Offerings
To put this shift into practice, TCS has launched four dedicated offerings:
- TCS Agentic AI Data Accelerator on Google Cloud, which aims to reduce data‑transition and modernisation cycles by up to 40 per cent, while building a cloud‑native foundation for AI at scale.
- TCS Physical AI Blueprint and TCS Smart Factory Blueprint, which use vision AI and agentic orchestration to create safer, semi‑autonomous industrial environments in manufacturing and industrial‑automation settings.
- TCS AI‑enabled Security Operations Center (AI SOC), powered by Google SecOps, to accelerate incident response and remediation while strengthening cyber‑defence capabilities.
These offerings are targeted at sectors where scale, reliability, and regulatory compliance matter most, including manufacturing, logistics, financial services, and healthcare.
Gemini Enterprise and tcsAI at Scale
TCS has embedded Gemini Enterprise across its portfolio to accelerate business‑outcome‑focused AI‑native transformations. The company says it has built more than 3,000 industry‑ and context‑aware agents on Gemini Enterprise that integrate seamlessly into customer environments, supported by Google Cloud‑certified and AI‑skilled personnel.
The capabilities are being extended to TCS employees via the tcsAI initiative, which aims to democratise AI‑usage at scale within the organisation and demonstrate how internal AI‑adoption can mirror client‑facing deployments.
Enterprise‑Scale Agentic AI and Gemini Experience Centers
Kevin Ichhpurani, President – Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to moving clients from pilots to fully autonomous, AI‑native operating models by combining Google Cloud’s AI infrastructure with TCS’s deep industry expertise.
TCS is also expanding its network of Gemini Experience Centers—dedicated hubs where enterprises can ideate, prototype, and co‑develop AI‑native solutions from concept to production. The company currently operates several such centres worldwide, with plans to grow the network to more than 10 locations by the end of 2026.
