Tiger Analytics, a global leader in AI and advanced analytics consulting, signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Bihar at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, organised by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The partnership establishes one of India’s largest Artificial Intelligence Centres of Excellence (AI CoE) in Bihar, with IIT Patna serving as knowledge partner alongside key ecosystem stakeholders. The initiative positions Bihar as a national hub for AI innovation through research infrastructure, citizen services, and comprehensive statewide upskilling programmes.
Comprehensive Ecosystem Spans Research to Deployment
The Mega AI CoE targets building self-sustaining AI capabilities across research, talent development, infrastructure, and practical deployment. Tiger Analytics, as designated Industry Partner, contributes global expertise to design large-scale upskilling initiatives for students, professionals, and government officials; conduct applied research addressing Bihar’s development priorities; and deliver scalable, responsible AI solutions for public institutions and governance systems. The collaboration emphasises translating AI potential into measurable societal impact through structured industry-government-academia coordination.
Tiger Analytics CEO and Founder Dr Mahesh Kumar highlighted Bihar’s intellectual heritage as foundation for AI-led transformation, positioning the partnership as demonstration of effective collaboration enabling research, upskilling, and deployment at scale. Bihar Minister of Information Technology Shreyasi Singh affirmed the Bihar AI Mission’s commitment to universal AI benefits through the CoE, establishing the state as contributor rather than recipient in India’s AI ecosystem.
Summit Showcase Demonstrates Practical Applications
During the AI Impact Expo alongside the summit, Tiger Analytics presented at Bihar Pavilion, demonstrating AI applications across public systems leveraging expertise in data engineering, advanced analytics, machine learning, and solution development. The CoE aligns with India’s accelerating AI adoption trajectory, where strategic partnerships between institutions and governments operationalise technology for sustainable progress across economic sectors and citizen services.
