5TATTVA Joins CERT-In’s Empanelled Cyber Audit Firms

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has officially empanelled 5TATTVA Cyberhub Security LLP as an Information Security Auditing Organization, authorizing the firm to conduct cybersecurity audits for government agencies, public sector undertakings, and regulated industries.

The certification places 5TATTVA among a limited group of cybersecurity firms qualified to assess the security posture of critical infrastructure operators and compliance-bound enterprises under India’s expanding cyber audit framework.

According to the official empanelment list, 5TATTVA will now be permitted to perform vulnerability assessments, configuration reviews, penetration testing, and compliance audits across sectors such as banking, energy, telecom, and defense.

Expanding India’s Cyber Audit Capacity

The inclusion comes as CERT-In continues to broaden its network of authorized auditors to address rising cyber threats and increased compliance requirements under the Information Technology Act and new sectoral cybersecurity directives.

Industry experts note that the expansion of the auditor pool is critical for ensuring that both public and private sector systems meet national security and data protection standards.

Leadership Reaction and Sector Focus

Speaking about the empanelment, Atul Luthra, Co-Founder and Principal Consultant at 5TATTVA, said the recognition reflects the company’s capability to support organizations in meeting India’s growing cybersecurity requirements.

“It validates our technical depth and our mission to strengthen digital resilience across sectors,” he noted.

Co-founder Manpreet Singh added that 5TATTVA’s expertise spans industrial control systems, operational technology, and supply chain security, areas increasingly under regulatory scrutiny.

“With new cybersecurity mandates emerging for manufacturing and power sectors, the demand for credible audits and compliance guidance has surged,” he said.

Broader Context

The empanelment allows 5TATTVA to collaborate directly with government and critical sector entities on risk assessments and policy compliance. The company has previously offered security and certification consulting services across frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and GDPR, alongside 24×7 Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring for enterprise clients.

The recognition comes at a time when India’s cybersecurity ecosystem is under pressure to expand capacity amid increasing data breaches, ransomware activity, and tightening regulatory oversight.

By joining CERT-In’s roster, 5TATTVA adds to India’s growing pool of certified auditors tasked with safeguarding national digital infrastructure.
