Salesforce and Ather Energy Partner for EV Growth

Salesforce has announced a strategic partnership with Ather Energy Limited, a leading Indian electric two-wheeler (E2W) manufacturer, to revolutionize dealership operations and customer experience. The collaboration aims to streamline sales, support services, and dealer operations through a unified, AI-powered platform.

Ather Dealer Central: A New Era of Digital Dealerships

With Ather Energy’s expansion plans in motion, the company has introduced Ather Dealer Central, a next-generation Dealer Management System (DMS) built on the Salesforce platform. This system integrates Lead Management (LMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and DMS into a single, scalable platform, enhancing dealer decision-making and customer engagement.

The mobile-first design of the new DMS allows dealers to manage operations on the go, ensuring increased efficiency and real-time customer service improvements. Currently, Ather Energy has 350 dealers across India and plans to expand further in the coming months.

Ravneet S. Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, highlighted the agility, scalability, and customer-centric approach of the new system. He described Ather Dealer Central as a strategic asset that will shape the future of EV retail and customer engagement in India, offering unprecedented insights and operational efficiency to dealer partners.

Mankiran Chowhan, Vice President, Financial Services & Consumer Industries at Salesforce India, emphasized that customer experience will be a key differentiator as India’s EV market continues to evolve. She stated that Salesforce’s AI-powered solutions will help Ather Energy create a scalable, connected dealership ecosystem, setting a new benchmark for customer engagement and operational efficiency in the industry.

AI-Driven Innovations with Salesforce Agentforce

The partnership also highlights the potential of AI in transforming customer interactions. Salesforce’s Agentforce, an AI-powered digital labor solution, enables companies to deploy autonomous AI agents across various business functions. This advancement aims to boost efficiency, optimize operations, and enhance customer engagement by augmenting human capabilities with AI-driven automation.

With this partnership, Ather Energy and Salesforce are setting a new standard for technology-driven dealership management, paving the way for smarter, more connected customer experiences in India’s growing EV sector.
